Dr. Kenny (Chi Kin) Ip is a Senior Research Officer at the Children's Cancer Institute and a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. His extensive expertise spans across neurophysiology, developmental biology, and functional genetics. Dr. Ip's research focuses on the intricate relationships between high-grade gliomas and neural stem cells, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets for pediatric high-grade gliomas.
As an emerging leader, Dr. Ip has received numerous scientific awards and published in high-impact journals such as Cell Metabolism, Neuron, Nature Communications, and Development. His contributions to the field were recently recognized when he became one of the inaugural recipients of the mid-career Col Reynolds Fellowship, awarded by The Kids' Cancer Project.
